Top Ten FAQs with All About Home's Karen Jones

1. How long does the first visit take?
Your first visit with me usually takes 1-2 hours, but can vary based on the size of your home and scope of the project. 
In this visit we can discuss things like color, furniture placement, window treatments and accessory ideas.

2. How do you charge?
By the hour when meetings take place outside of the All About Home store.

3. Do you only use All About Home?
No.  I will shop with you anywhere!  I regularly use Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Target, etc., to fill the needs of the client.

4. I have to work on a budget, how can I get a designer look?
I'm great at that.  I'll help you create your "wish list."  Then as your budget allows, you will know what to buy.

5. Do your clients get a discount at All About Home?
Yes, they get a 10% discount on all items purchased within 90 day of a consultation.

6. Do emails after the initial consultation cost money?
No.  I want to keep you moving forward! I have a great visual memory (and a camera!)

7. How long have you been doing this?
20 years.  I've worked with many builders in town, with many clients out of state, and have won top honors in our local Parade of Homes 14 times.

8. I'm embarrassed; I don't have a big fancy home.
Don't be.  I want to see what your needs are and the best way to help you is to meet with you in your home.

9. I need names of good people to get some work done around the house.  Can you help?
Yes, absolutely.  I have names and numbers of local vendors who are reasonably priced, good at what they do, and will get the job done for you.

10. I a considering building a home, or remodeling.  When is the best time to bring you in?
Right in the beginning so that I can help you think of things you probably would not have thought about.
